Video Game Character Chat - An "Engaging" Conversation with Fire Emblem Engage's Alear

Let's talk about powers, prophecies... and hairstyle!

Two weeks ago, Nintendo officially announced the latest installment to the Fire Emblem franchise, titled: “Fire Emblem Engage”, and let me tell you. It was wild! It was fire!! It was mind-blown, and it was God-tier!!!

So, using my powers to travel between game worlds (thanks to Fairy Tale Odyssey), I traveled to the world of Elyos, the World of the Fire Emblem Engage game, to track down Alear and have a one-on-one candid chat with him.

CASEY: Hey buddy! Thanks for having me on such short notice!

ALEAR: Uhh… yeah I guess… 😥considering you crashed the place and rushed right past Vander.

CASEY: Ohh, Vander! 😅 Is that the old man who pulled that axe on me earlier?

ALEAR: Well yeah. 😥He’s been watching over me for 1000 years now, while I was asleep, protecting me.

CASEY: A 1000 years?? Dude, your guardian needs to retire, like yesterday. And you’ve been sleeping all this time? No midnight snacks between sleep or anything?

ALEAR: What’s a midnight snack?

CASEY: You don’t know what a midnight snack is? Bro, you’re missing out! And how the hell do you stay fresh? Beauty sleep has never been on trend back home in my world. Well, actually, back home on Earth, not the World I was born in which is Fablemyth.

ALEAR: Oh! You’re from another world? Are you perhaps one of the 13 Emblems?

CASEY: Oh God no! I wouldn’t take the place of any one of those guys. They’re a league of their own. I’m one of a kind!

ALEAR: Oh! So you’re a dragon?

CASEY: Better. I slay dragons.

ALEAR: You—YOU WHAT? 👀 *pulls out Liberation Sword and ready to attack*
